Background: Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (HH) is a key cause of absent, partial, or arrested puberty. Individuals with HH experience central disorders of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, with deficiency in gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH).
